I'm watching AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL CYCLE 1!
Woohoohoo!

This is the pioneer, baby. Some described it as 'cheap.' Sure, it has less budget than the cycles that followed. I'm sure Cycle 1 made an impact. There won't be a Cycle 9 if it weren't for this.

I love the finalists. They're so bubbly, so catty, so engaging, so entertaining. The other cycles - blah. Personally, Cycle 2 was okay. Cycle 3, eh. Cycle 4, okay. Cycle 5 and 6, eh and eh. Cycle 7 was great! Cycle 8, I confess, I'm hooked because I like Jaslene (Latina) and Natasha (Tori Amos-Regina Spektor look-alike.)

Back to Cycle 1, just look at this scene:

Sheryl and I watched The Devil Wears Prada. Not together. I'm in Laguna. She's in Batangas. As usual, we were texting. I love this movie. Brings back memories.

Lesley and I just watched Rendition. Meryl Streep is effortless. Whatever the role, she has it down pat. She becomes the character. She is officially the godmother of acting.
